A quick-drying cotton cloth with a multitude of uses.

A tenugui is a textile with as many applications as its owner can imagine. A longtime fixture in Japanese homes and onsens, the tenugui is a thin cotton cloth that dries extremely quickly, making it a perfect addition to any kitchen or bathroom. These items are more than simple towels, however: Our Hirali tenugui feature striking patterns created through a one-of-a-kind printing method that produces a unique reversible design available nowhere else. Available in 20 varieties.

Please note: Tenugui are purposefully designed without hems, which means that some initial fraying is normal. Do not pull loose threads; instead, trim them with scissors. The frayed edge will develop a natural fringe over time.

Materials: 100% cotton
Dimensions: 35.43" L x 13.39" W
Care: Hand wash separately from other fabrics, as some color may transfer. Avoid bleach or brightening agents. Hang dry in a shaded spot. Do not pull any loose threads; instead, trim with scissors. Note that ironing at a high temperature may cause discoloration.
