Kanayamidori is a premium sencha that showcases the kanayamidori cultivar (one of more than 100 Japanese tea varieties) and the unique growing conditions of Kirishima, Japan. Kirishima’s refreshing sea breeze and volcanic soil lend this tea a bright and refreshing flavor that pairs well with the trademark creamy texture of Kanayamidori.
What to expect: Dark green and glossy tea leaves that, when brewed, make for a refreshing cup with notes of lemon basil and kombu and a smooth finish.
