Demand for sustainability has led traditional Japanese craftsmen to begin looking for eco-conscious methods that preserve centuries-old traditions while meeting the needs of modern society. Enter the Gato Mirai Wood Bowl Collection.
In collaboration with Ryoka Sangyo's Mirai Wood department, the Gato Mirai Bowls take otherwise disposed of wood shavings and food-safe biodegradable resin from standard Laquerware production to create a new type of signature Yamanaka product.
